I know I told everybody that I was gonna blog about livin at the Zeight Geist, but my stupid ass forgot to bring my laptop. I have everything written in my journal so I’ll be posting all of it tonight. There must be something weird about staying there. I’ve been drinking for a week and eating burgers n’ heartstoppers and I’ve been loosing weight, about 2.5lbs to be exact. I’m gonna have to punch another notch in my belt. Here’s a thought let’s market Zeight Geist as the new weight lose miracle. Eldo and I will film the Infomercial in front of the porta-potties. We’re gonna be millionaires! Yar!

“Love is fleeting. Music last forever”……. In my world these words are written in stone. IIf you’re thinking I’m all busted up over this, I was. Music is my new love. For all of you who are thinking I got inspiration from the ads on the side of Muni, I did.

I just got Serato and it kicks ass. I don’t care if it’s cheating I love it. I don’t have to carry a hundred pounds of vinyl with me anymore. All I need to carry is Serato a laptop and a little bit of back up vinyl. The best part is I can buy only the vinyl that I want and not the stuff that everyone else wants to listen to. Call me selfish but it’s nice to spend money just on myself sometimes. I can now find all the music that used to take weeks of searching and I don’t have to pay $50 for a record that’s out of print. The time coded vinyl that comes with it is much better quality than some of the garbage that’s out there. That means no more skipping needles when skratching and back cueing. Serato is God’s gift to DJ’s. Don’t get me wrong though, if you want to be a DJ you still have to have real vinyl. If you don’t have real vinyl your a damn poser. Serato should only be used when spinning at bars, clubs, or weddings when you have to have a wide selection of tracks. For a four hour set I used to carry two crates of vinyl with me and believe me, unless you play the full track you will run out of ideas very fast.

I finally quit my job today. For those of you that don’t know my day job its auto repair. It was a horrible working environment. I feel free now. WOO HOo! I am gonna miss it a little bit tho’. I’m gonna miss the middle aged MILFS smiling at me all the time. I’m gonna miss the 40 year old Isabella who acts like she’s 18 and loves to flirt. I’m gonna miss the Ferarris, Lambos, Hotrods and the world’s most wonderful Ika Shiyoyaki at Aji Yoshi Ya….. I’m not gonna miss DICK BAG MICHAEL. If you are reading this I have some wise words for you. YOU’RE A FUCKING ASSHOLE AND YOU SHOULD GO BACK TO CHINA!
